Leadership
This plan attempts to address a number of issues and lingering questions from our first year as a new school in a way that provides opportunities for teacher learning, safe-space sharing and experimentation with feedback. I am attempting to lead professional development in our school that will help us achieve and align ourselves more closely with the school’s mission and to more effectively utilize the technology at our fingertips. Additionally, this plan uses many of the IB ideas of the learner profile, approaches to learning skills and concept-based curriculum so that we aren’t doing “another thing,” but rather enhancing and deepening our understanding of the curriculum framework in which we teach and learn every day.
